Kabuki actor Kataoka Takataro was very shocked when he saw who was his Uber Eats delivery man

Kabuki actor Kataoka Takataro wrote on his blog on July 13th that when he saw the face of the Uber Eats deliveryman, he was shocked.

He was one of the major kabuki actors.

Many kabuki actors including Takataro, have lost their work due to the novel coronavirus and doesn’t foresee any work coming until October.

Kataoka said when he saw the face of the delivery man, he was just frozen and shocked.  He has heard that kabuki actors and other people are doing other jobs during the time of staying at home.

But this is no doubt a reality for many stage performers who need to make money to survive during these tough times.
