Drunken Tanaka Kei kept in police station because he was unable to pay his taxi fare

Actor Tanaka Kei was kept at a police station for several hours because he was drunk and was unable to pay his taxi fare.

Media is reporting that Tanaka was taking a taxi early in the morning on August 3rd to his home in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, but the driver said the actor was drunk, couldn’t wake up and was unable to pay the taxi fee.

When the police officer arrived, Tanaka was unable to talk, so he was taken to a police station where he stayed for several hours.

Tanaka was drinking alcohol at a restaurant in Tokyo with an accquaintance.

When his agency was contacted, they replied “We can’t answer at this stage”.
