JARU JARU wins "King of Conte 2020", wins grand prize of 10 million yen

Comedy duo Jaru Jaru won the 13th annual “King of Conte” (2020) which took place on Sept. 26th.

The duo won first place in a competition that saw 1,707 entrants.

Best known for their bizarre and crazy skits, comedy duo Jaru Jaru (which consists of members Goto Junpei and Fukutoku Shusuke) has been entertaining audiences on stage and on television for years.

The winner of the ABC Comedy Grand Prix in 2013 and reaching the finals in M-1 Grand Prix in 2010, Jaru Jaru has participated in “King of Conte” each year since the event first took place in 2008 and they made it to the finals coming second place in 2009, third place in 2010.
