NHK held their press conference in Shibuya on November 5th. In regards to reports that the annual New Year’s Eve special will be held with a live audience, chairman Maeda Terunobu (75) said, “It seems that such a matter was reported somewhere, but it will be held without an audience”.
The announcement has already been said back in September that this year’s event will be the first unattended “Kouhaku Uta Gassen” in its long history.
