NEWS members Koyama Keiichirou and Katou Shigeaki tested positive for COVID-19

Johnny’s announced that NEWS members Koyama Keiichirou (36) and Katou Shigeaki (33) tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Kato had a fever of 37.7C on the morning of November 28th and a PCR test was performed and it was confirmed as positive.  He will be under the guidance of the health center and will receive medical treatment.

Because of Kato’s positive PCR test, a test was done on Koyama Keiichirou and a manager and it was confirmed that Koyama was also positive.  While he does not have a fever, he is coughing, feels weak and has a headache.  He is also following the guidance of the health center.

Because both were at the office a few days before the onset, disinfection work will be carried out on the 29th.

Because of the positive results of the two members, “NEWS LIVE TOUR 2020 STORY” which was scheduled to be distributed on Johnny’s Net Online on December 12th and 13th has been canceled.
