With concern that the postponed Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics not being held in 2021, International Olympic Committee chief Thomas Bach has said that the Tokyo Olympics will go ahead as planned and that there is “no plan B”.
Bach did hint that the number of spectators may be reduced to protect lives and the people involved.
Bach said, “”You may not like it but sacrifices will be needed. This is why I’m saying, safety first, and no taboo in the discussion to ensure safety”.
