International media complain of the pricing of vending machines at press center at the Tokyo Olympics, but Japanese netizens say that’s nothing compared to USJ or Disneyland

Many athletes and foreign media are reporting on the pricing of vending machines and restaurants during the Tokyo Olympics.

Many were reporting that the price is Y280 (average price is Y160).

But Japanese netizens say that’s nothing. One wrote, “Go to Universal Studios Japan” and you will truly know about being ripped off.

Another said go to Disney Japan or even Tokyo Big Sight to know the prices.

While near Mt. Fuji, one said that the price of Coca Cola is Y500.

But for those in the media or athletes, if you want the cheapest prices, go to a convenience store which is not far from a hotel area.
