Toyku Hands in Ikebukuro slated to close on October 31st

Tokyu Hands is a shop best known for a one-stop store for genuine “From Japan” products and the mega store in Ikebukuro was known for its eight floors and a go to location.

Unfortunately, the shop which opened back in 1984 is closing due to the store location aging and could not generate profits to coincide with the renovation costs.

This is the first time a Toyu Hands store that has closed and sales have been declining since the pandemic but Tokyu Hands explained that it had been considering closing the store even before the pandemic.

The official announcement of the closure of the location is October 31st and listed discontinued products and services which are ending before the October 31st closure.
