Kimura Takuya – “I don’t have any sugar in my house”

Kimura Takuya (48) appeared on TV Asahi’s “Kaji Yaro!!! 2 Hour Special” which was broadcasted on September 7th.

Kimura revealed in the “real meshi” segment in which the singer/actor participated in a project in which he cooked a dish which he usually eats.

In the dish, Kimura added “oligosaccharides” (origo-to de) to add sweetness to make beef kimchi. Kimura confessed, “By the way, I don’t have sugar in my house, only oligosaccharides. The amount of sugar is completely different and if you sweeten it with oligosaccharides, that is definitely better for your body”.

Oligosaccharides in liquid form can be used instead of sugar and are attracting attention because it is lower in calories and do not easily raise blood sugar levels.

Bakarhythm (45) who ate the beef kimchi which Kimura cooked said, “This is more delicious that pork kimchi. The oligosaccharides are really slightly sweet. The seasoning is exquisite”.
