Anison performer Kurosaki Maon collapsed during a live performance, emergency surgery performed

On September 18th, Kurosaki Maon’s live performance was being held and during the live, she collapsed.

She was transported by ambulance to the hospital and was diagnosed with epidural hematoma and emergency surgery was performed.

According to UCLA Health, “An epidural hematoma (EDH) occurs when blood accumulates between the skull and the dura mater, the thick membrane covering the brain. They typically occur when a skull fracture tears an underlying blood vessel”.

According to her agency Hifumi Inc., the surgery was successful and her condition is now stable. Kurosaki will be taking rest and the minimum medical treatment period is two months. Her upcoming appearances in October will be canceled as she needs absolute rest which is necessary for the time being.

Kurosaki is known for making her debut in 2010 with the album “HOTD” (Highschool of the Dead) and performed the ending themes.  She also had songs featured in anime series such as “Jormungand”, “Tokyo Ravens”, “Fruit of Grisaia” and more.   She also performed as a unit ALICes with Kanda Sayaka and the group Altima, with Motsu of m.o.v.e.
