Seiyuu Makino Yui and husband, singer Miura Yutaro are expecting their first child

Seiyuu (voice talent) Makino Yui (35) and singer/songwriter Miura Yutaro (37) are expecting their first child.

Makino issued a statement, “It’s a private matter, but this time I’ve been given a new life. I am planning to give birth in March next year, and I have entered a stable period and my physical condition has stabilized, and as my baby grows, my body has changed day by day. To this day, I am very grateful to all the people who I have been indebted to for their warm support, and to the managers and other office staff for their detailed care and coordination. I will continue to put my physical condition first, and I will continue to do my best in the work I am doing. I would like to protect this small little new life together, husband and wife, while holding hands so that I can prepare my mind and body for childbirth and give a good announcement to everyone. I hope you will continue to support us as warmly as ever”.

Miura also tweeted, quoting Makino’s announcement and wroted, “This time, we have been given a new life to us, husband and wife! We hope you will keep an eye on us. Thank you for your continued support”.

Makino Yui is known for the voice of Sakura for the anime series “Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle”.

Miura is the son of actor Miura Tomokazu and Japan’s most popular idol in the ’70s, Yamaguchi Momoe.
