Tanaka Reina revealed what she put in her time capsule when she was in elementary school and was opened 20 years later

Former Morning Musume member Tanaka Reina tweeted about a time capsule that was buried at her elementary school and was opened 20 years later.

Inside the time capsule (in which the contents was sent to her by her cousin) featured a bromide collectors card of Goto Maki when she was a member of Morning Musume and a letter from a 10-year old Tanaka Reina which read, “When I become a junior high school student, my dream is to audition for Morning Musume and become a member of Morning Musume!! Did my dream come true?”.

Another letter from Tanaka’s mother also echoed the same wish of young Reina.

Reina wrote, “My dream came true for my mom!”.

In 2001, Tanaka auditioned for Morning Musume but because of her age, she was rejected. But in her first year of junior high in 2003, she passed the audition and became a member of Morning Musume.

Tanaka also wrote a letter to herself in the future which read, “I’m probably an aunt when I read this. When I turn 30, my eyes may become bad and it may be difficult to read the characters.” Tanaka laughed when she read her letter to herself and replied, “It’s okay, 10-year-old Reina-chan. I can still see with my eyes. lol. The characters I read is very beautiful”.
