Goto Yuki participated in a celebrity street fight to fight against a professional and a chance to win 10 million yen

Former EE Jump member Goto Yuki (also the younger brother of former Morning Musume member Goto Maki) took part in a celebrity street fighting event for ABEMA.

If a challenger can beat professional mixed martial artist Asakura Mikuru, they can win 10 million yen.

It didn’t end well for Goto, who’s face was battered after the fight which lasted 45 seconds.

Goto wrote, “This time in regards to the challenge, it was reckless no matter how you looked at it.  I’m sorry to worry my wife and family and also everyone who wanted me to take the challenge. There was a lot to gain in my life through this fight. I really wanted to stand up and fight, but I couldn’t even do that in front of the pros but I’m not injured, so don’t worry”.

As for Asakura Mikuru, Goto said, “I thought he was a great man and he was very cool”.

On the bright side for Goto, he lasted longer than the other challengers which lasted only 13 seconds and 37 seconds.

Former KAT-TUN member Tanaka Koki was also scheduled as a challenger, but declined due to an injury on that day.
