Kimura Takuya to star in TV Asahi drama, his first role as a high school coach

Kimura Takuya (49) will be taking on a role as a high school boxing coach in TV Asahi’s “Mirai e no 10 Kaunto” (10 Counts for the Future – Tentative title).

Kimura will play the role of a man who gave up competitive boxing during his second year of college after achieving four high school boxing crowns and since then, has had nothing but bad luck since the death of his wife. He regains his hopes in life after becoming the boxing coach of his high school alma mater.
