Shinjuku Gyoen x NAKED collaboration for Sakura Night Garden at Shinjuku Gyoen 2023

Some of the performances include the fuel cell vehicle “MIRAI” developed by Toyota Motor Corporation, which runs on hydrogen, and “Moving e” (a mobile power generation and power supply system that combines a fuel cell bus and large and small batteries). ) will be used for a limited time, and it will be an environmentally friendly night cherry blossom event that will be held without using a generator.

The first collaboration event between Shinjuku Gyoen, one of the best cherry blossom spots in Tokyo, and NAKED has been decided. There are about 900 cherry trees of about 70 varieties that bloom in Shinjuku Gyoen, and there are various seasons when they are in full bloom.

Therefore, during the event, we will move the production location according to the variety of cherry blossoms in full bloom, so that you can enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom at any time. Among them, the highlight is the new work of artist Muramatsu Ryotaro’s art project “DANDELION PROJECT” that makes flowers of peace bloom. This time, in collaboration with the cherry blossoms of Shinjuku Gyoen, the new work “SAKURA DANDELION”, which combines real cherry blossoms and digital art cherry blossoms, will be released for the first time.

At the same time, we will be able to connect with Nijo Castle in Kyoto, which is a part of the “DANDELION PROJECT”, and through the mutual network, we will be able to make the flowers of peace bloom with projection mapping. The projection mapping of the rare cherry blossom variety “Fukurokuju” that will be lit up from early to mid-April is also a spectacular sight.
