AKB48’s Asai Nanami announced that she is graduating, making her the 30th AKB48 member that will graduate in 2023

Asai Nanami of the idol group AKB48 announced on the 1st that she would be graduating at the group at Team B’s “Idol no Yoake” performance held on the same day. This is the 30th AKB48 member to announce graduation since the beginning of 2023.

Asai has been active as a core member of Team B since 2021, including serving as the captain, announced her graduation at the performance on the 1st. It was announced that her graduation date will be announced as soon as it is decided.

Since the beginning of this year, members of AKB48 have announced their graduation one after another, including Nakanishi Chiyori, Mogi Shinobu and Honda Hitomi. This year, Asai became the 30th AKB48 member to announce that she is graduating. Also, out of the 48 groups, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48, and STU48, she is the 59th member.
