Actress Ikawa Rune has passed away

Actress Ikawa Rune passed away on November 18th. She was 31 years old.

On December 1st, her agency announced the following statement on their website, “Ikawa Rune, a member of our company, had been suffering from poor health and had been undergoing treatment for some time, but she passed away in the early morning of November 18, 2023. I would like to inform you that I am deeply grateful for your kindness during my lifetime. It is with great regret that I have to share this news with all the fans who have supported her and all the people involved who have taken care of her. In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family, the wake and funeral will be held by close relatives. The ceremony was held in person only. We would like to express my sincere condolences and respectfully inform you of this”.

Ikawa starred in films such as “Tokyo Revengers”, “GOTH” and most recently in the Fuji TV drama “Crime Family” (April-May 2023). She also starred in the Live Stage versions of “Kantai Collection -KanColle”.
