Nihon Falcom’s “Tokyo Xanadu” 10th anniversary project has begun!

Before “Legend of Heroes” and “Ys”, Nihon Falcom created the popular RPG video game series “Xanadu” (1985) for the PC. This was the second entry to their popular “Dragon Slayer” RPG’s and both are known as the progeninator of the action RPG genre.

Fastforward to 2015, and Nihon Falcom wanted to do something different than “Legend of Heroes” and “Ys” and wanted to do something Xanadu but in a modern setting. This led to “Tokyo Xanadu”.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of “Tokyo Xanadu”, Nihon Falcom is workinig on a project which features a completely new game with a common worldview, a completely new stage setting, and a game system built from scratch. A visual and a video was released today.
