Former Morning Musume member Konno Asami has made her official statement on her blog in regards to Yoshizawa Hitomi’s reported arrest.
Konno writes:
About the report. I can not find the words but that I’m surprised and I’m in sorrow.
I do not know whether I am in a good position to be making a comment, but as a junior who has spent time with Morning Musume and Gattas, I am very sad.
I think that such an accident should have never happened.
The body and mental injuries of the victims, especially the wounds of the heart may not fully heal, but I pray for their recovery.
Also, I hope that seniors can take this responsibility and be able to compensate.
