Maeda Atsuko made her first public appearance since her pregnancy announcement, promotes Studio Mario

Maeda Atsuko made her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy last week.

The former AKB48 member is promoting the children’s photo gallery Studio Mario which is operated by Camera no Kitamura in Japan which has 370 studios throughout Japan.

Maeda is featured in a new CM for Studio Mario:

Maeda attended a press event for the Studio Mario campaign and also showed photos of her as a child.

Maeda said, “Since I was very shy when I was a child, I look very serious (laughing), but I think it is good to see these pictures later on.  Looking at this photo when I was 7-years-old, I wanted to pick something out to wear myself, so it is my favorite picture.  I felt that I wanted to take a photo like an adult”.

Asked about taking photos when she and her husband (Katsuji Ryo) have a family, Maeda said, “I want to take a photo with my family as soon as the baby is born or after the baby is born”.
