In the latest episode of “Terrace House: Opening New Doors”, Aya and Shun move out but before they leave, a breakfast made by Kaito kicks the show off.
Two new people have moved into the Terrace House and how is it that I have a weird feeling that drama may happen in again. Hmm…
The latest episode of “Terrace House: Opening New Doors” features the addition of Fukuda Aio, a former soccer player from FC Ryuku, who has a cool but yet self-deprecating sense of humor and carries a Care Bears handkerchief…umm, but unfortunately you can tell his humor probably masks the pain that his progression in soccer is not going as he expected and now must restart his life, not knowing what he will do as he has been playing soccer since he was 3-years-old.
Aoi played professionally for a year and nine months. Played for FC Ryuku J3 in Okinawa and because his soccer ability is so-so and he needs to make money, he will be abandon his dream as a soccer player and get an idea of what type of career he wants to pursue.
We learn from this episode that Aio’s father is American, but then he disappeared from his life when he was 3. All he knows is that his father is Black. Suddenly, a man paid for his college but yet he has not met him.
Maya asks Aio if he is in a relationship and he explains to her that he was six months ago. When she asks why they broke up, he confesses that he cheated on her.
Tanagawa Risako, is a cheerful, upbeat model. She is 28-years-old and will be the oldest member living in the house:
And Risako has posted an image with her new housemates:
While a few are eating pasta, Kaito asks Risako of what she does on her day off. She tells him that she goes to the gym or does yoga but when she wants to chill, she watches Netflix.
But dynamics are changing, we are seeing Aio and Kaito becoming good friends, Sota is a soccer fan so that’s another plus. We get a sense that Maya maybe interested in Aio, but when Risako asks Aio to go to the gym, she seemed annoyed.
Risako learns from Sota that he is divorced and has a six-year-old child raised by his ex-wife.
Then you have Risako asking Sota out for a lunch date but it looks like her wanting to know her housemates more.
Meanwhile, as for Yui, she is still job searching to no avail. And you can’t help but feel for her as she is still used to her previous housemates who she has gotten very close to and now, it’s a new dynamic in the terrace house.
