Fuji TV announced that the long-running, popular anime series “Sazae-san” (Sunday at 6:30 p.m.) and “Chibi Maruko-chan” (Sunday at 6:00 p.m.) will be broadcasting new episodes starting on June 21st.
“Sazae-san” began airing replays on May 17th and “Chibi Maruko-chan” since May 3rd.
The statement for “Sazae-san”:
We will continue to produce programs while considering the safety and infection prevention of all production staff and people involved in the program.
The statement for “Chibi Maruko-chan”:
“Chibi Maruko-chan” will be broadcast on June 21st to August 23rd to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the anime series. The 30th anniversary Sakura Momoko Kyakuhon Matsuri will continue for 10 consecutive weeks. This was planned to showcase the 10 most popular works written by Sakura Momoko, the original author.
