Many people were excited in the beginning of the year for the spring premiere of the “BGBG Shinpen keigonin” drama sequel starring Kimura Takuya. But then COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) hit and production for the dramas were postponed by two months.
But will other dramas that were scheduled to be shown in the summer continue or will be canceled?
That is one of the challenges TV stations were facing and now TV Asahi has now announced at their meeting on July 30th that “BG” will end in July with a total of seven episodes.
TV Asahi said the drama which was scheduled for July, will now start in August but can be adjusted.
“BG” began airing on June 18th and had a solid rating of 17%.
