Takenouchi Yutaka to start in a 9:00 drama for the first time in ten years

For Japanese dramas, the 9:00 p.m. is a golden time and typically reserved for a drama which is expected to garner big ratings.

Takenouchi Yutaka is not a stranger to appearing in a 9:00 p.m. drama, but for the actor who has appeared on hit dramas such as “Long Vacation”, “Beach Boys”, “Kori no Sekai”, “Dekichatta Kekkon” , “Nagareboshi”, it has been ten years.

For Takenouchi, when he turned 40, he wanted to choose work that he would be satisfied with and that meant not appearing in 9:00 p.m. serial dramas and he hasn’t appeared in a serial drama since “Gibo to Musume no Blues” back in 2018.

But Takenouchi will appear in Fuji TV’s 9:00 p.m. drama, a drama adaptation of the manga “Ichikei no Karasu”.  The series revolves around courthouse judges.  At a Japanese criminal trial, the guilty rate is 99.9% but why do judges come to that decision.  The series focuses on a judge who presides over courtroom criminal cases and a clerk with a lot of personality who works at the court.
