Kaede Kaga to graduate from Morning Musume and H!P

Morning Musume member Kaede Kaga (22) will be graduating from the group and from Hello! Project.

The announcement was made on the official website.

According to the announcement, Kaede’s interest in dance increased and her desire to study it more deeply grew strong. She would like to graduate from Morning Musume activities and work hards towards a new goal”.

Kaede said, “First, I will take time to study, and then we will discuss and decide how to use dance in my work. I will let you know about my future activities and after graduation as soon as they are decided”.

“I have been active for about 10 years, including the trainee period, but I think I have done everything I can, so I decided to graduate in order to move on to my next goal. After graduating, I would like to study dance from scratch, and in the future I would like to do a job that involves dance in various ways”.

Kaede, who has been active as a Hello! Project trainee since November 2012, joined the group in December 2016 after being selected from the trainees at “Morning Musume. ’16 New Century Audition”.

Kaede’s final performance will be at the final performance of the Morning Musume tour this fall.
