AAA Atae Shinjiro’s exclusive contract with AVEX has expired and will become independent

Atae Shinjiro (34), a member of the dance vocal group “AAA (Triple A)”, which is currently on hiatus, updated his Instagram on the 15th and posted a message with “Avex Management” to which he belongs. Atae announced that his exclusive contract had expired and that he would become independent. Atae also said that he will be holding a free live event in Shibuya, Tokyo on July 26th.

Atae wrote, “To all the fans who always support me. As of June 14, 2023, my exclusive contract with Avex Management, which I have been indebted to for about 20 years, will expire, and I will be independent to take on new challenges. Including the audition, I have gained a lot of experience for about 20 years. I will be active after signing an agent contract with Avex Management. Of course, when AAA resumes group activities, I want to stand on that stage. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the fans who have always supported me.It is definitely because of you that I have been able to keep running so far.Thank you very much. Also, with this new departure, there is something I would like to directly convey to everyone again. Regarding the ‘challenge of my life’, it is a personal wish, but I would like to convey it directly while looking at everyone’s faces. I hope you will let me. I would like everyone to continue to support and support me as before, but I am aware that it is difficult for them to understand. However, I think it is best to inform them on the official website and SNS. While looking at the faces of the fans who have been with me for about 18 years and have supported me, I thought that I would be the first to convey my sincerity as much as possible, so I prepared a venue. Also on the same day, a new official website was opened and a description of the venue was posted. Entitled “Atae Shinjiro announcement”, It was announced that a free event will be held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (Shibuya Public Hall) in Tokyo on the 26th.

AAA debuted in 2005 and gained popularity for overwhelming singing ability and dance performance, they won the Best New Artist Award at the 47th Japan Record Awards in the same year. In January 2020, it was announced that the group’s activities would be suspended on December 31st of the same year, and the activities are currently suspended.
