AKB48 Yumoto Ami announced that she is ghraduating

AKB48’s Yumoto Ami (25) announced her graduation from the group at the performance of “Boku no Taiyou” held at the AKB48 Theater in Akihabara, Tokyo on the 19th.

Yumoto wrote on her AKB48 blog, “I joined AKB48 when I was 15 years old, and this year marks the 10th anniversary of my debut. And after Team K’s last concert the other day, I felt refreshed and thought, ‘I’ve completed my idol life'”.

With the abolition of the team system, dhe decided to take a new path. Yumoto joined AKB48 in 2013. In the same year, dhe won the “34th Single Senbatsu Rock-paper-scissors Tournament” and entered the selection. She specializes in acrobatic movements such as backflips, and in 2017 she participated in the drama “Tofu Pro Wrestling” in which 48 group members appeared.

A decision to break her activity for 10 years. She wrote, “From the age of 15 to 25, being able to spend the important period of her life as part of AKB48 will undoubtedly become the food for my future life. I will continue to devote myself to using what I learned at AKB48 so that I can become an actress who can play an active role in a wide range of stages, dramas, movies, and actions”.
