It was announced that the second season of the TV anime “Urusei Yatsura”, will start broadcasting in January 2024. At the same time, a key visual with a winking Lum in the center was also released.
The original “Urusei Yatsura” is Takahashi Rumiko’s debut serial manga. It is a romantic comedy that begins with the encounter between Moroboshi Ataru, the “most evil” on earth, and the beautiful girl Lum, a “demon girl” who flew down from outer space, and has won many fans so far.
The animation “Urusei Yatsura” was produced as a completely new work to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Shogakukan. Selected original episodes will be broadcast on television over a total of four parts. Following the first season of the anime, which was broadcast for two consecutive parts from October 2022, the second season will begin broadcasting from January 2024.
