Tanaka Reina tested positive for COVID

Former Morning Musume member turned actress Tanaka Reina (31) tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

According to her official website, Tanaka will have to drop out from the musical “Anne of Green Gables” which she was scheduled to appear as the character Anne Shirley from August 16th.

The production issued a statement, “We have been making adjustments for the actual performance until today, but we decided that it would be difficult to spend enough time on the stage training and we could not prepare to deliver the original stage, so we decided not to perform. Currently, the physical condition of the person is steadily recovering.
